We took the early bus to Hue; four hours on a sweltering bus was not pleasant. Hue is dominated by an enormous citadel (the walls are 10 km around) which used to be the imperial capital. We don't quite feel up to tackling this today and keep the excitement until tomorrow.
We explored the local neighbourhood including a cake shop and stuffed ourselves for a dollar.
